Are you a narcissist?
Better take your time to think about it.
Because the truth is,
Every single person on this planet carries a touch of narcissism.
It’s part of being human.
He’s a narcissist. She’s a narcissist. I’m a narcissist. You’re a narcissist.
Whether we admit it or not, we all crave recognition. We all want to feel important, seen, and validated.
That’s narcissism — in its most subtle form.
But here’s the real difference:
It’s not about whether we’re narcissistic — it’s about how well we control it.
Some people have mastered the art of managing their ego.
They stay self-aware, humble, and grounded, even when the spotlight is on them.
They know when to speak and when to listen, when to lead and when to step back.
Their narcissism exists — but it’s quiet, refined, hidden beneath layers of control.
Others, however, let it spill over.
They interrupt conversations to steer attention back to themselves.
They can’t stand criticism. They dominate, manipulate, and seek admiration at all costs.
Their narcissism becomes loud, chaotic — impossible to ignore.
And that’s when it shows.
Those who keep it contained move through the world unnoticed, even admired.
They doesn't get called out, stay hidden in plain sight.
But those who can’t?
They eventually expose themselves — not by what they say, but by how they behave.
And when the mask slips, people see them for what they truly are.
